Music Festival are getting more and more popular these days, many are talking about glamping, why not go one better and stop in a motorhome. Tents are so yesterday!
If there are 4 of you sharing the cost, the comfort and luxury is a very small price to pay.
Most festivals have a separate field for campervans and motorhomes in a quieter location and health safety rules mean you get a bit of space around it to!
You could save a fortune with a well stocked fridge of food, wine and beer. Maybe not in that order of priority!
With sufficient notice we can organize the festival tickets and motorhome pass, but most people buy their own then come to us for the motorhome.
There are some top tips we can give you:
- Water – fill the onboard tank and use sparingly, a hose and real is supplied with each motorhome so ensure you are close enough to a water fill point as they may not let you move to fill up (especially if mud is an issue). We can rent out an aqua roll to get extra water yourselves. If you want the best out of the motorhome you have a shower with lovely warm water, so get to site early and get that spot by a waterfill point and check the hose will reach it for the refill of the onboard tank!
- Battery Life – there will be no 240v hook up so you will have to rely on the battery, use the lights sparingly to conserve the battery life and run the engine once or twice a day to top up. The motorhome comes with 1 full Gas bottle so switch the fridge to Gas to conserve the battery further.
- Toilet – You might not be able to empty the cassette toilet so use this sparingly and take advantage of on-site toilets where you can.
